I want to get this on the schedule so we can do it right this year!
Sometime when the temps will be warmer, and the forest will hopefully not be closed down due to fire danger.
I am suggesting weekend of August 16th. Should still be plenty warm, no hunters yet, and school will still be out for summer.
Gary/Will -- how does that date work for you guys? I can't do it any later due to school schedules, but could do it earlier. Just want to make sure I don't conflict with other planned events.
Also, we need to decide if we want to try and camp at an RV friendly campground or go for the more "extreme" tent camping sites off of gold Lake. So put your vote in for the campground of choice!
(I vote extreme camping, but a spot that makes backing in my trailer a bit easier)
