Trip Description: Information regarding this trip can be found at www.jeepersjamboree.com
Although listed as a Jeepers trip, this is actually offered to all vehicles. Let make a nice Land Rover apppearance this year. This trial will be listed as Extreme on the Rubicon Trail. Cost is $350 per person, 2 Minimum per vehicle. Includes 12 meals!
Although everyone will register by themselves, I would like to arrange the group to travel both in and out together and also get everyone camping together at Rubicon Springs..
Special Mention about this trip:
Serious offroading into and out of Rubicon Trail but have been told while in camp it is a really big party seen. This is definately not recommended as a family trip.
Official Occupant List

Frank Cerrone (Driver) - Tyler Cerrone (Co-Pilot) Driving 1994 Defender 90
Chuch Mobraten (Driver) - ??? (Co-Pilot) driving 2000 Disco II

Hmmm... let me check with the wifey. I wouldn't mind being a co-pilot for someone on this one.
...the jamboree rules state the vehicle must have a roll bar... are you planning an exo-cage Tony?

I think the cage requirement is due to Jeeps being open with no roof or pillar support. I will call and get more details on that, I missed it. Chuck ran his DII with no issues or inspections but we might as well be proactive and I will doublecheck and report back.
Yes, either Steve or Dave are welcome as copilot. Just let me know..

Very tempting; not sure my RRC will be ready by then.
Thinking of taking a Rubicon Rock clinic first in July/Aug and perhaps hitting the actual Con in Sept/Oct.
This July trip sounds like a good way to jump in the water. :)
Is there a number of truck limit size for the grp you organizing Tony?
Man, Tony if you are only a short drive from me, I can have all my junk installed in no time! :D Working on the HD steering stuff from Rovertracks after shaver Lake Snow trip. Then Bill from GBR will be finished with my 3rds w/Detroit and TT, and HD axles. Drilled/slotted rotors, LT230 install, new DS...So much too do.
Keep us posted Tony!

This is a pretty large event, so there really aren't any vehicle limits. However, if you are planning on driving a rig, it's important to get registered in advance so you don't miss the registration deadlines.

We are doing the 4 day trip. After speaking to Frank about last years, it is very important that if we want to stay as a group camping then we all need to travel in early at the same time. I will put the details together shortly for the timeline of the entry.

The great thing about this trip is the support level included with
entry fee. There are rock stackers all along the trail and unlimited
mechanic support, ect. This is a great event to get your feet/rig
wet.
Like Chuck says, no limit since registration is taken care of direct with event. I'm just hoping to keep the group of us together for the weekend with camping and fun!
Looks like some serious goods.. Let us know if you need help, we are here if
you need us.

ok, I've marked this trip on my calendar, let's hope my wife doesn't erase it for some water ski trip.
I'll be giving my broinlaw first right of refusal for co-pilot spot. I'll post up a vacancy if he is unable
