Anyone planning on attending? I got a pass to come.....all things look good. New Years Day will top off all the fluids and I think pack a camp stove for some on trail hot chocolate!

Have fun guys; Gary, David and I will be attending Tread Lightly's Trainers program in Gorman.
Hopefully we will have time to check out Hungry Valley's SVRA obstable course or trail after class - have our own monthly off-road fix! :)

My plan is to head to HH after the Mojave Road on Friday and camp that night. I will have my stove and hot chocolate with you Mike. I need to see if I can drive to the camp site after dark, since I have no idea when I will be arriving.

If you call and talk to the head Ranger, let him know you are with NCLR and doing the MORG on Sat, they may let you in even late....they seem to really enjoy us being out there...

I'll be at the park aroun 8 or 9 I think. I usually just go in and head up to the new obstacle course when I am done motoring around. Will be on CB 7 also. If you get there and can't get ahold of someone, go into the park and head up towards Truck hill...easier to get CB to the majority of trails there vs. the rangers station.

Decent turnout, weather clear and cold, conditions were muddy but trails in the sun were drying out by the afternoon. Some of the easy trails were a pucker factor going down hill for some. And of course, Rob had to show up the locals in the mud pit :D

A little repair, a little wheeling...all is good.
Some highlights:
As photo'd above, repair of a Disco at the NEW obst. course. Needless to say, big tired/big engine and heavy feet have reshaped what the course is looking like.
The downhill on Lupine Loop. Really nothing, as long as you are used to Autopia at Disneyland and could get your wheels in a rut.....mud seems to be a great equalizer.
Talked some people into doing stupid things with their Fords and the such. At the Classic Obst. course, the Nazi flag waving, "Don't give A (An anarchy symbol) F^#$! 4x4 club sure made me understand HOW off roaders get a bad image. Wonder if it was their coors light that was dumped on the trail and that will cleaned up....
Great friends, great weather...met some I knew, some I didn't yet.....
The lone repair rover (I forget the name) passed me going in to play as we left....next time hopefully no issues, and 2 more rovers in the pack!
