Anyone want to meet in Woodside this Saturday morning? What's the plan for pre-running the trails for the meeting in Oct.? I wouldn't mind running all but the the hardest of trails that are planned.

What time and where do you want to meet Dan (anywhere along I80 heading West between Vallejo and Berkeley will work for me)?

As a suggestion (right after you cross the Carcenize bridge and you've passed Rodeo), take Willow Ave exit. It's easier in/out place to meet & get gasoline. I don't live too far away:

Meeting place/fill-up: Gas station @ 828 Willow Ave, Hercules, CA

Destination: Holliser SVRA @ 7800 Cienega Rd, Hollister, CA

Mapquest tells me it will take us 2 hrs to get there / 112.10 miles one way!

Let's add a 30 min buffer; what do you think - meeting @ 7:30am at that gas station in Hercules!

"Will" said meet 10:00ish at the Ranger Station. If we leave @ 7:30am, will get there on the early side 9:30ish. If you want extra time for sleep, we meet/leave at 8am.

I will PM you my cell Friday night! Might still have your cell on my SPOT device! Don't worry - will not bombard you with spot messages! :D

If anyone is interested in a map of Hollister (I have three printed right now) I can bring some copies tomorrow. They have to be printed at my work since I am out of color ink at home, but if you chime in before 4 o'clock today I will print more of them.

is there a tentative schedule or something? depending on how fast the kids move, we may or may not be there by 10am. i'm assuming obstacle course first, but will you do the mini boot camp for trail leader before heading out or what? i'll be on CB 7 for sure, but thought i'd ask where to look in case i miss you guys.

No really agenda!

We are going to meet @ the Ranger Station 10am: air down, bathroom breaks, wait for a few mins for others....

Then head to the Obstacle course. Depending on # attendees, Will/Gary and I might get started on the Trail Leader Orientation.

And then pre-run the trails each trail leader would be confortable leading, or folks not planning to be trail leaders, join and hit the trails.

If you are running late, just meet us @ the obstable course; CB 7 is on and hope you still have my cell, call me if you don't see us.
