Freamont called me. Not sure why they made it a Sunday trip. They usually go out saturdays. I had previous engagements for that Sunday. Really hate missing it because I am REALLY looking forward to meeting the rest of the club but I'll have to wait for the next one :(

Yes, I do have track pass and broadband access on my other laptop. That would require a second laptop mount along side my Toughbook :eek:

I put a call into FMC late yesterday, waiting for call back..

First off,

My sincere apologies to Land Rover Fremont and Will & Monty for reserving space for a family of 4 and not making it. Here's my story so far today..

Saturday evening... Being prepared...

Loaded up the truck.. Turned the fridge on and loaded with Juice, Water, cheese and kids goodies. Even charged to battery packs and the LR3 remote control truck for a little time out break on the trails.

Sunday morning... Get up early...

Even thought extremely prepared, running a little late and finally finished loading the kids in and ready to go at 8:15am. Ready to lock the front door and realized I have the wrong keys in my pocket. Lupe and I torn the house apart for 45mins while the kids are loaded in the truck waiting. Spoke to Gary "PCRover" as we are still looking and after the conversation finally gave up looking. Unload the kids and went into the house. Lupe wants to go out to breakfast now. I calmed down to alleviate the pressure and relax and think about the situation to retrace my steps, and within two minutes found the keys sitting ontop of the hallway furniture. I forgot Jacob and I going to the potty room and I removed the keys from my jacket as to not fall into the drink! Announced "I found em', Let's Go!!" Get everyone in the truck and hit the freeway.. Need cash & everyones hungry... Hit the ATM and Mickey D's across the street. Back on the freeway and on the way to Hollister!! Little late but were gonna get there...

On the freeway, leaving fremont on 880 and chugging along.. Did I mention my Daughter has a little cough on Friday evening? :eek: We'll here we go again.. She's not feeling good and right at Auto Mall Parkway, I find myself pulling over from the fast lane as she is holding a McDonalds bag to here mouth. After cleaning the scene up, pulled back on the freeway and turned around and went home.

Pulling into my driveway, I get a call from DBregman, explain the situation and say I'm not gonna make it. Unload my wife and daughter and consider taking off with just Jacob and I but figuring at this point better take the hint and stay at home before something else happens. :rolleyes:

That was quite a Sunday morning you had. Hope she feels better soon and you find a better place to store your keys. ;)

We had a great day at Hollister. The weather was perfect, the food was great, and the company was even better. Unfortunately the wheeling was a little slow, but the rest made up for it.
